At the ceremony, Decision No. 472/QD-CTN dated May 30, 2024 of the President on posthumously awarding the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to two mothers Phung Thi Chi and Tran Thi Mien in Cam Ha commune was announced.

According to information at the meeting, with outstanding achievements in the two resistance wars, the army and people of Cam Ha were awarded the flag "Determination to fight, determination to defeat the American invaders" and 1,608 medals of various types. Among them, there are 2 First Class Liberation Medals, 8 Second Class Liberation Medals, 15 Third Class Liberation Medals, 120 First Class Resistance Medals, 123 Second Class Resistance Medals...

The locality has 2 individuals honored with the title “Hero of the People’s Armed Forces”, many titles “Brave American Destroyer”; 89 mothers were awarded or posthumously awarded the title “Heroic Vietnamese Mother”; 365 children of the homeland fought and sacrificed heroically, 85 wounded soldiers, 565 families contributed to the revolution. The people and cadres of Cam Ha commune were awarded the noble title “Hero of the People’s Armed Forces” by the Party and State.
