All nine Newton students who participated in IMSO won medals. This is the most impressive achievement in the medal tally of the entire Vietnamese delegation at IMSO 2024.

Newton School won a total of 9 medals - leading the entire delegation in terms of quantity and quality of medals at IMSO 2024.

In Math, Newton School won 2 Gold Medals, they are 2 students: Le Ky Nam, class 7I0; Truong Manh Quan, class 6G0.

In Science, Newton School won 2 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals, and 1 Bronze Medal. Specifically, 2 Gold Medals went to Dao Trong Cuong, class 7C0, Nguyen Minh Khoi, class 6G0. 3 Silver Medals went to Nguyen Duy Anh, class 6G01; Vu Duc Huy, class 5G0; Do Quoc Khanh, class 6G01; Tran Ngoc Thuy Trang, class 6G01. The Bronze Medal went to Pham Hoang Giang, class 7G0.

In particular, in addition to the Gold Medal, Dao Trong Cuong also won the best prize in the theory exam with the title "Best In Theory" in Science.

This year is the second consecutive year that Newton Inter-level School has topped the Vietnamese delegation in the medal tally. At IMSO 2023, Newton School also led with 8 medals, of which Mathematics won 4 medals (2 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals), Science won 4 medals (3 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal). The above results contributed significantly to the overall achievement of the First place for Vietnam at IMSO 2023.

IMSO (International Mathematics and Science Olympiad for Primary School) is the leading prestigious international Mathematics and Science competition held annually for students under 13 years old worldwide.

IMSO not only tests theoretical knowledge but also challenges students' creativity. The motto of the exam is to promote the value of intelligence, creativity and stimulate students' interest in Mathematics and Science. IMSO exam questions are highly appreciated by leading experts for their scientific and practical nature in all three parts: finding answers, essay writing and discovery.

Ms. Le Thi Bich Dung - Vice President of the Board of Directors of Newton Inter-level School said that the school was very pleased to know that the Hanoi student delegation, including 9 Newton students, achieved excellent results at the IMSO 2024 exam. This achievement continues the school's tradition and is a valuable gift on the occasion of the school's 15th anniversary (November 2009 - November 2024).

In addition to high achievements at IMSO competitions over the years, Newton students have continuously made impressions at prestigious international competitions.

At the 2024 International Junior Mathematics Olympiad held in India (InIMC), Hanoi had 15 students with 3 Gold Medals, including 2 Gold Medals belonging to students of Newton Inter-level School (Nguyen Dang Khanh - Key Stage 3 level and Nguyen Phong Chau - Key Stage 2 level). With a score of 140/150, Nguyen Phong Chau, class 7G0 became the student with the highest score in the entire Key Stage 2 level, surpassing the US and Chinese teams.

In addition, Newton also became a rare phenomenon at the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) when it was a private school with a contestant in the official team to compete and win a prize. In 2023, Hoang Pham Minh Khanh, class 10G0, was the student with the highest achievement at the IJSO with a Silver Medal. In 2024, surpassing more than 200 excellent students from all over Hanoi, two Newton students, Vu Nhat Long and Vuong Ha Chi (class 10G0), excellently won the First Prize with the highest and second highest scores, becoming 2 of 6 representatives of Vietnam to participate in the IJSO 2024 held in the Republic of Romania in December 2024.

The outstanding achievements of Newton School students at the prestigious international intellectual playgrounds mentioned above affirm that Newton is an "International Specialized" school - where students are given the best conditions for comprehensive development, including knowledge of specialized science subjects and computer skills, foreign languages, soft skills, etc., helping them adapt to the digital age.

On September 18, Newton Inter-level School System started construction of the 6th campus - Newton Westlake Inter-level School (Nam Thang Long Urban Area, Phu Thuong Ward, Tay Ho District).
