Enrollment in 3 new training majors
This morning (January 5), the University of Finance and Marketing announced information on full-time university enrollment in 2025. Notably, this year the school opened 3 new majors, bringing the total number of majors enrolled in 2025 to 18.
Accordingly, in 2025, the school will enroll 18 majors including: business administration, marketing, finance-banking, international business, accounting, management information systems, English, economic mathematics, economic law, financial technology, tourism and travel services management, hotel management, restaurant and food service management, economics, real estate, auditing, economic management and data science.
Enrollment targets are expected to remain stable as in previous years. The average target for the school in the 2021-2024 period is 4,375.
The school will enroll students in 5 programs including: standard program, integrated program, full English program (international orientation), and special orientation program.
6 admission methods
In 2025, University of Finance and Marketing plans to enroll students in 6 ways.
Method 1: Direct admission, direct admission and priority admission according to the University Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Method 2: Consider recruiting students with good high school results according to 4 criteria.
- Area 1: High school graduates in 2025 with excellent academic performance in grades 10, 11 and 12.
- Area 2: High school graduates in 2025 from specialized and gifted schools under the province, city, and university with an average score of each subject in the admission combination of grades 10, 11, and 12 from 7.0 points or higher.
- Area 3: High school graduates in 2025 who won first, second, or third prizes in excellent student competitions, science and technology competitions at the provincial or municipal level or higher, or who are members of the school, province, or city team participating in the national excellent student competition, national science and technology competition with an average score of each subject in the admission combination of grades 10, 11, and 12 from 6.0 points or higher.
- Category 4: High school graduates in 2025 with an international English IELTS score of 5.5 or higher (or an equivalent international English certificate) or an English certificate of level 4/6 or higher according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework for Vietnam issued by authorized educational institutions that is still valid as of the date the school receives the application for admission and has good academic performance or higher in grades 10, 11 and 12.

Method 3: Consider high school academic results according to subject groups.
Method 4: Admission based on the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam.
Method 5: Admission is based on the results of the computer-based university entrance exam (V-SAT) for 2025 enrollment organized by the University of Finance and Marketing at locations nationwide and the V-SAT results of schools that have signed cooperation agreements with the school.
Method 6 : Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam according to the general plan of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Notably, the school considers any combination of 3 subjects (the list of subject combinations will be announced specifically later), in which at least 1 compulsory subject is math (not exceeding the number of admission combinations according to current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training).
Over 50 billion VND in scholarships for students
The University of Finance and Marketing also plans to award over 50 billion VND in scholarships to students admitted to the 2025 enrollment period.
Students of the integrated program, full English (international program) are exempted from tuition fees for 5 of the practical modules. Students of the integrated program, full English (international program) are exempted from health insurance fees for 1 year. Students are given priority to study modules in the master's training program in advance, and students are allowed to accumulate points for the corresponding modules at the university level when their learning results are good or better...
In addition, according to information announced by the University of Finance and Marketing, students with excellent academic results throughout the course will be given priority by the school to stay at the school to train as lecturers (with funding for postgraduate study).
