Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu, Principal of Cuu Long University, said that in 2024, the school will enroll 4,500 students for 28 majors. To meet the actual human resource needs, this year the school will enroll two new majors: marketing and biomedical engineering.
"Biomedical engineering is an interdisciplinary field that applies advanced techniques (such as nano, stem cells, and telemedicine) to create research methods and devices to serve health and help deepen human understanding. The Mekong Delta has hundreds of hospitals, clinics, and research centers on applied biomedicine, so it is in great need of a team of human resources with in-depth knowledge of biomedical equipment to serve in this field," Associate Professor, Dr. Cu said.
