University of Transport has a new principal

This morning (December 18), University of Transport held a ceremony to announce the decision to recognize the President of University of Transport for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the ceremony, the new principal of the University of Transport, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Hung shared that he has spent more than 34 years studying and working at the school.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son presented the Decision to recognize the position of Rector of the University of Transport to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Hung.

"As a lecturer and now as the school's principal, I will continue the school's proud tradition, where the next generation follows and develops on the solid foundation left by the previous generation with all gratitude and pride," Mr. Hung said and affirmed: In the new position, together with the school's current leadership, I will be responsible, together with teachers, employees and students, to build a university with a broad and creative vision.

At the same time, we are committed to a dynamic educational environment where each individual finds the opportunity to fully develop their capacity, intelligence and passion for the profession.

Also at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son sent his congratulations to teachers, students and especially the new principal Nguyen Van Hung.

He also hopes that, in his position as principal, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Hung will quickly promote his knowledge and experience. Together with the Party Committee, the School Council, the Board of Directors and the collective of cadres, civil servants and workers, join hands to build a united collective, develop the School to become stronger and stronger, achieve many great achievements in the coming time, successfully implement the strategy, continue to develop steadily, affirm the reputation of the training quality and the position of the School in the university education system and with the whole society.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Hung, the new principal of the University of Transport, is a lecturer, well-trained and matured at the University of Transport, and has a lot of experience in managing all levels of the University.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Hung has held many positions such as: Deputy Head of Foreign Affairs Department, Head of Foreign Affairs - Science and Technology Department, Deputy Director of Branch, Vice Principal and Director of Branch of the University. He has experienced extensive management work in many different fields and always excellently completed assigned tasks.
