At the opening ceremony, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports Do Dinh Hong expressed that Hanoi marked President Ho Chi Minh's special affection for the Party Committee, government and people of the capital. During his entire revolutionary career, the capital was the place where he was attached the longest (17 years, from 1945 to 1946 and from 1954 to 1969). His thoughts, feelings and profound advice are now invaluable legacies, guiding all activities of the Party Committee, government and people of Hanoi, contributing to building the capital more and more civilized and modern.

Within the framework of the exhibition, a program to interact with historical witnesses and receive donated artifacts - images of the capital's people who had met Uncle Ho donated to the Hanoi Museum, was organized.
