Exhibition of Han-Nom heritage in Gia Lai province

The exhibition displays more than 100 artifacts, documents, and images in 3 thematic groups.

Part 1 displays royal decrees from the reigns of King Tu Duc, Duy Tan, and Bao Dai conferred upon deities at communal houses in the province.

Part 2 displays the decrees conferring titles on people who contributed to the Nguyen Dynasty, which are still preserved in private homes in Gia Lai, such as the Nguyen, Tran, Van, and To families. Along with that are some land purchase and sale documents that are still preserved by private homes that have settled for a long time in the An Khe area.

Part 3 displays Han Nom scripts of other types such as horizontal lacquered boards, parallel sentences, prayers, land documents, tombstones...

The exhibition selects various types of artifacts made from many materials (wood, paper, porcelain, metal, fabric...) and many types of architecture (communal houses, temples, pagodas, private homes, tombs...) showing the historical and cultural process of the locality from the early 19th century to the present.

Thereby, bringing the literary heritage closer to the public, helping people inside and outside the locality to have a more complete understanding of the history and culture of Gia Lai through the Han Nom documentary heritage in the province.
