The management of children's toys and ensuring food safety and hygiene continue to receive attention and strict management. From the beginning, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry and Trade have closely directed the work of ensuring food safety and hygiene during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The Ministry of Health requested localities to carry out inspections and examinations of establishments producing, processing and trading moon cakes, confectionery, soft drinks and traditional foods produced in craft villages and small establishments. The General Department of Market Management, Ministry of Industry and Trade, has received reports from the Market Management Departments of many localities about the seizure of large quantities of smuggled moon cakes of unknown origin in recent days.

In particular, due to concerns about toys and foods of unknown origin and poor quality that can be harmful to children's health, this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, many families tend to shop for Mid-Autumn Festival goods at addresses with clear business registration and reputation; guide their children to choose traditional toys, especially handmade toys, of domestic origin. This has contributed to bringing a complete, safe and healthy Mid-Autumn Festival for all children.
