On the evening of December 17, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations in collaboration with the Literature and Arts Times organized the Award Ceremony of the Contest "Learning about 80 years of glorious tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Army" with the theme "Forever the marching song". The contest aims to arouse patriotism and national pride, contributing to widely disseminating the precious historical values ​​of the Vietnam People's Army. At the same time, it arouses the interest and social responsibility of artists; arouses the spirit of literary and artistic creativity on the topic of armed forces and revolutionary war. In addition, the contest also creates an academic and creative playground, encouraging participants to research, learn and demonstrate their knowledge about the history of the formation and development of the Vietnam People's Army over the past 80 years; honoring the feats and contributions of the Vietnam People's Army in the resistance wars, building and defending the Fatherland. Launched in October 2024, the Organizing Committee of the contest has received more than 4,000 entries from groups and individuals nationwide. The contest participants are quite diverse, including artists, soldiers of the Army, Police, officials, civil servants, veterans, retired officials, teachers, ethnic minorities, students, businessmen, etc.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize; 3 Second Prizes; 5 Third Prizes; 10 Encouragement Prizes and many other prizes.
