The first rest stop on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway through Binh Thuan is being accelerated in construction, with the time set to be put into operation before the Lunar New Year.
On the afternoon of December 28, the working group of Project Management Board 7 inspected the construction site and worked with the contractor on the construction progress of the rest stop at Km 205+092, Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway, through Ham Tri commune, Ham Thuan Bac district (Binh Thuan province).

At the meeting, the relevant parties agreed to temporarily put into operation essential items, restrooms, and parking lots before the Lunar New Year 2025.
Mr. Nguyen Thai Ha, Deputy Director of Project Management Board 7, said that the time left is only a matter of days, the construction unit needs to closely follow the progress and urgently carry out the items at the rest stop in parallel.
The contractor must concentrate, mobilize materials, equipment, machinery, personnel, and finance to speed up the construction progress of two rest stops (one station in each direction of the road, parallel - PV), and put them into operation.
"The access roads, speed limiters, toilets, and temporary parking lots must be completed and put into operation on January 20 to serve people's travel needs during Tet," said Mr. Ha.

Mr. Bui Duy Anh, Head of the Office of Highway Management IV.1 (under Highway Management Area IV) said that in order to put the project into operation on time, investors and contractors must urgently complete the documents on traffic organization plans, directional signs, and connecting roads to the highway connecting to the rest stop.
At the end of August 2024, the rest stop at Km 205+092 after the site was handed over, the contractor started the project.
The rest stop will be built in many sub-areas, including areas for electric charging stations, serving the needs of pedestrians and drivers.

The rest stop at Km 144+560 (Tuy Phong district) has not yet started construction due to lack of construction site.

The investor winning the bid for the rest stop at Km 205+092 is the Thanh Thanh Nam - Chau Thanh - Viet Han - Saigon Investment - Thanh Thanh Cong Lam Dong Joint Venture.
The investor of the rest stop at Km 144+560 was awarded the construction, business and operation contract by the FUTABUSLINES - Thanh Hiep Phat Joint Venture.
