Traditional dishes are also introduced to the public through the flavors of Quang noodles, Cao Lau, Banh Dap, Banh Bong Hong, etc. In addition, the creative activity of bamboo sculpture originating from Kim Bong carpentry is also performed on this occasion. All of these activities will be performed by 40 children of Hoi An in this year's program.

In particular, this year the program has the activity Hoi An Night: Light up the heritage, which will be open for free from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the 8th and 9th of Tet. This activity creates an opportunity for the public to explore the folk arts and traditional crafts associated with Hoi An ancient town. The space of Hoi An ancient town is recreated in the bright lantern light, accompanied by images of artisans making pottery, carpentry, lanterns, and bamboo statues. Those who love activities can participate in the game of hiding and smashing pots, calling out cards, practicing folk songs, etc.
In addition, young people have the opportunity to learn about the traditional Tet and culture of Hoi An with the support of technology through interactive screen experiences and dragon drawing contests to discover the children of the dragon, etc. Young people will have impressive check-in photos in the space of Hoi An ancient town right in the heart of Hanoi.
Activities associated with the traditional Tet holiday have always been maintained over the years, such as the instruction of printing Dong Ho paintings by artisans in Bac Ninh, and calligraphy by teachers from Hanoi. Funny puppet shows by artisans of Dong Ngu puppetry troupe are also performed on this occasion. Visitors who love painting have the opportunity to create clay phoenix sets, mold to he figurines, paint pictures of the 12 zodiac animals, etc.
In addition, children can participate in many folk games of ethnic groups such as: sack jumping, carrying rice across the bridge, tug of war, walking on stilts, dragon dancing, bamboo dancing, throwing con, throwing pao, pushing sticks, playing badminton, playing mat,... at the Folk Architecture Garden. Visitors also have the opportunity to enjoy the taste of Muong cuisine with typical local dishes in the Muong cultural space.
A new feature of this program is the application of technology in the exploitation and exploration of traditional cultural heritage. The public has the opportunity to participate in the Joyful Gifts to Discover the Meaning of Tet; QR Tour: Discover the Dragon Tet in the Museum's exhibition space; Dragon Painting Contest and Discover the Dragon's Children,... The activities both apply technology to create diverse interactive experiences that attract young people and integrate the introduction of related cultural information. Thereby, the meanings of cultural heritages are conveyed to the general public in a simple and easy-to-understand way. STEM activities instruct children how to make some toys related to the Tet theme to learn scientific knowledge are also introduced to enrich the experiences. These activities contribute to diversifying the forms of reaching young audiences to bring cultural heritage to the younger generation.

We wish to honor the values of local cultural heritage as well as create opportunities for exchange and cooperation for Hoi An. Through these practical activities, we will contribute to affirming the values of handicrafts and folk arts in Hoi An's journey to join the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, while promoting and introducing the image of Hoi An to a large number of Vietnamese and international tourists".

The collaboration with Hoi An to introduce traditional crafts and folk arts contributes to honoring the cultural values here in the journey to join the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
The program hopes to create a useful playground for young people, helping to increase their understanding of traditional Tet in general and the cultural heritage of Hoi An in particular. From there, young people will better understand and appreciate the traditional culture of their ancestors and raise awareness of protecting and promoting heritage values in contemporary society.
