Participating in the program, children will travel to explore Southeast Asia through painting cultural heritages, as well as learn many interesting things about national flags, capitals and currencies of countries. In addition, those who love painting will be able to freely create on paintings of national costumes of Vietnam and some countries in the world. Young visitors who are passionate about acting will have the opportunity to transform into talented puppeteers.

Children can control the funny puppets themselves, creating creative and humorous performances. The traditional art of water puppetry is also introduced through the funny puppet shows of the artists of Dong Ngu water puppetry troupe, Thuan Thanh, Bac Ninh.

Children participated in many fun and entertaining activities at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1.

Especially on June 1, Hmong children from Suoi Giang, Van Chan district, Yen Bai province will perform folk art and traditional games of the Hmong. Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Hmong panpipe dance, be captivated by the melodious sound of the flute and witness impressive pao throwing, skillful top-kicking and powerful stick pushing.

In addition to the performances, the Hmong children will share stories about their daily lives in the highlands as well as activities in the village classroom. This activity not only helps children in the capital Hanoi learn about Hmong culture but also creates opportunities for them to understand each other.

In addition, coming to the program "Happy to explore the heritage of countries", visitors and children can participate in activities to explore heritage through technology and STEM. Visitors can experience learning about cultural heritage through scientific activities that develop creative thinking. Along with that, many games of Vietnam and other countries are also organized such as: O an quan (Indonesia, Malaysia), Tuho (Korea), bean bag tossing (Japan), tug of war (Thailand), hopscotch (India, Peru), can throwing (Philippines) ... These 2 folk games not only bring joy and multinational cultural connection, but are also a way for children to explore the similarities and differences between countries.

Tourists and children can experience wearing traditional costumes of ethnic minorities.

Sharing with the press, Dr. Bui Ngoc Quang - Deputy Director in charge of the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology said: "The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology hopes that the program "Happy discovery of the heritage of other countries" will bring all children a day of fun, learning, and meaningful cultural experiences after a year of hard work. The museum has a free admission policy for people with disabilities and ethnic minority children, with the desire to convey the message that the museum is for everyone. Through the program, children will be encouraged to love and care for the cultural heritage of the nation, thereby enhancing the spirit of preserving, protecting and promoting traditional cultural values ​​in the context of international integration".
