This year's On the Wharf, Under the Boat Fruit Week brings together fruits and products that are specialties of the Southeast and the West... to introduce to people and tourists the unique culture of "On the Wharf, Under the Boat" of District 8.
Accordingly, specialty fruits from Dong Thap, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Tien Giang, Long Khanh (Dong Nai)… will be sold in thatched-roof stalls. On the side stage of the week, the organizers designed vivid images associated with the river delta region of the West; every night there will be art performances.
People attending the program can join in the experience of making bamboo leaf sticky rice cakes, making Ba Trang cakes, arranging coconut leaves artistically, making to he figurines, drawing art paintings, and designing and decorating conical hats.
