Also at the ceremony, the HCM City Vocational Education Association officially launched the vocational promotion program and the program's executive board. This is an activity to honor, encourage and create conditions for skilled workers and good vocational teachers to develop their careers.
The program is a new development step of the Ho Chi Minh City Vocational Education Association when there is a specialized agency for activities to encourage vocational development and call on workers and students to participate in vocational skills training.
According to Mr. Lam Van Quan, the Association's core objective is to practically contribute to improving the quality of vocational education and the quality of human resources to meet the requirements of the domestic and international labor and industrial markets; actively contributing to the economic and social development of Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam. Therefore, all activities of the Association are aimed at the above goal.
The Association encourages vocational training institutions to cooperate in developing common training programs, sharing teaching materials and resources. Schools can jointly carry out research projects and develop new technologies in vocational fields in which they have strengths.

In addition to connecting with schools, the City Vocational Education Association also focuses on strengthening connections with businesses, supporting schools to connect with businesses to create opportunities for cooperation in training human resources according to the requirements of businesses, and at the same time finding quality output for students of schools.
According to Mr. Lam Van Quan, in the coming time, the City Vocational Education Association will establish an advisory board including representatives of enterprises participating in the process of developing teaching materials, orientation and assessment of training quality. With training suggestions from managers who are directly involved in production and business, the city's human resources will be closer to labor practices and have new developments.
