Sam Son City arranges 19 parking lots to serve summer tourism in 2024

In order to ensure the safety of visitors' property during the 2024 summer tourist season, Sam Son City has arranged 19 parking lots with a total area of over ^82,000m2 , located in the wards: Truong Son (8 lots), Trung Son (6 lots), Bac Son (4 lots), Quang Cu (1 lot).

According to the plan for organizing and managing parking lots in the area, the People's Committee of Sam Son City has specifically stipulated: Parking lots must ensure security and order; meet requirements on fire and explosion prevention and fighting and environmental sanitation; the roads in and out of the parking lot must be arranged to ensure safety and not cause traffic congestion.

For parking lot management and business units, they must publicly post the regulations, prices of services at the parking lot, the name and phone number of the competent state management agency for vehicle owners to reflect and complain when necessary; collect vehicle parking fees, use tickets in accordance with regulations; and be subject to inspection and supervision by competent state agencies.

Transport business vehicle owners are not allowed to use the parking lot to pick up and drop off passengers and have the right to refuse service to vehicle owners who do not comply with parking lot regulations...

In addition, Sam Son City also issued regulations for parking attendants to be of working age according to the provisions of the Labor Code, have an ID card/CCCD, have a clear background, have permanent residence or temporary residence registration in Sam Son City; and not be serving a sentence.

Must have a health certificate issued by a medical facility and signed within 12 months of submitting the job application; not addicted to drugs or using prohibited stimulants; not using alcohol while performing duties in the parking lot area, not suffering from infectious diseases.

At the same time, it stipulates prohibited behaviors such as: Paying higher than the prescribed price; parking vehicles of the wrong type; parking vehicles outside the parking lot; following, soliciting, forcing drivers to enter the parking lot; drinking alcohol while parking; having uncivilized behavior and words; fighting, cursing each other causing public disorder...

In addition, the People's Committee of Sam Son City requires the People's Committees of wards to develop a fixed price for parking lots (except for parking lots of investors and households), submit for appraisal for implementation. Coordinate with the Tax Department of Sam Son City - Quang Xuong District to print tickets (invoices for collecting parking fees) to collect parking fees and give them to households that keep cars to issue invoices to customers according to regulations.

The organization selects units and individuals with sufficient capacity to perform vehicle parking in a manner that is public, transparent, and fair in accordance with regulations (in the case of a parking lot with 2 or more participating organizations or individuals with equal criteria, priority will be given to selecting local units). At the same time, it is responsible for managing, inspecting, supervising, and operating the parking lots according to this plan, correcting and handling violations according to its authority.
