Including 6,934 beekeeping facilities; 21 wild boar and black pig farming facilities; 83 spur chicken and black bone chicken farming facilities; 155 wild duck and stream duck farming facilities; 4 earthworm farming facilities; 8 spotted deer farming facilities, 67 pigeon farming facilities; 21 silkworm farming facilities; 3 horse farming facilities; 417 goat farming facilities; 19 rabbit farming facilities; 2 ostrich farming facilities; 4 quail farming facilities.
This is a direction that has been strongly encouraged to develop in livestock farming in recent years because the consumer market still has great potential, is easy to care for, has few diseases and brings high economic efficiency.
To continue to replicate the above models, especially to support poor households, recently, units under the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development such as the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center; the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine have applied and integrated capital sources from the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021-2025; the livelihood development program of the National Agricultural Extension Center, the New Rural Development Program... to support machinery, equipment; breeds; initial feed sources; organize nearly 100 training courses on livestock breeding techniques, care, disease prevention... for thousands of households in need.
