Organizing 5 interdisciplinary inspection teams on food safety during the month of action

On April 1, the Food Safety Department informed about the organization of 05 interdisciplinary inspection teams to conduct inspections in 10 provinces and cities during the Food Safety Action Month 2025 (taking place from April 15 to May 15).

Food Safety Action Month 2025 with the theme: Ensuring food safety, focusing on food safety in collective kitchens, catering services and street food.

Accordingly, based on Plan No. 11/KH-BCĐTƯATTP dated January 3, 2025 on the implementation of post-inspection work on food safety in 2025; Based on the theme of Action Month for food safety in 2025, the Central Interdisciplinary Steering Committee on food safety assigned the Ministries of Health, Agriculture and Environment, and Industry and Trade to coordinate with relevant Ministries and branches to organize 05 interdisciplinary inspection teams to conduct inspections in 10 provinces and cities.

Team No. 1, chaired by the Department of Food Safety (Ministry of Health), in coordination with the Department of Environmental Crime Prevention Police (Ministry of Public Security), 01 unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, 01 unit under the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Testing Institute under the Ministry of Health, conducted inspections in 02 provinces/cities: Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Phuoc.

Team No. 2, chaired by the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, coordinated with the Department of Environmental Crime Prevention Police (Ministry of Public Security), 01 unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, 01 unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and a testing unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to conduct inspections in the two provinces of Quang Binh and Quang Tri.

Delegation No. 3, chaired by the Department of Quality, Processing and Market Development (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment), coordinated with 01 unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Department of Environmental Crime Prevention and Control (Ministry of Public Security), 01 unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, 01 testing unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to conduct inspections in Hanoi city and Bac Giang province.

Group No. 4 is chaired by 1 unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with 01 unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Environmental Crime Prevention and Control (Ministry of Public Security), 01 unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and a testing unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade to conduct inspections in the two provinces of Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan.

Group No. 5 is chaired by 1 unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with 1 unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, 1 unit under the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Department of Environmental Crime Prevention and Control (Ministry of Public Security), and a testing unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade to conduct inspections in Dien Bien and Lai Chau.

In addition to the 5 Central Interdisciplinary Delegations, the Ministries of Health, Agriculture and Environment, and Industry and Trade assigned functional units to conduct surprise inspections in provinces and cities to effectively implement the Action Month./.
