On the evening of August 14, at the City Theater, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association and Ho Chi Minh City Television jointly organized a special art program Musician Phan Huynh Dieu - Love Remains.

Musician Phan Huynh Dieu was born on November 11, 1924 in Dien Ban, Quang Nam province and passed away in 2015. He is one of the most famous musicians of contemporary music, leaving a deep impression through his immortal musical works. He is known as the "golden bird of Vietnamese music".
Musician Phan Huynh Dieu is known to music lovers through many famous revolutionary songs that have stood the test of time. His compositions not only reflect revolutionary history but also arouse love for the homeland and country such as: Life is still beautiful, March of the day and night, Liberation Army (now National Defense Army )... In particular, the song National Defense Army with its heroic and powerful melody has become a musical symbol, associated with the heroic history of the Vietnamese people.
Besides his revolutionary musical compositions, music lovers also remember this talented musician through his sweet love songs. Perhaps his childhood was closely associated with the folk melodies and smooth folk songs of Quang Nam that created such a musician.

After more than 80 years of musical composition, the late musician Phan Huynh Dieu has given the world hundreds of valuable works of art. He is remembered by music lovers as an ageless musician and his music, no matter the time, is always beautiful, full of love, life, faith, and optimism for a bright future, just like the composer's soul.
During his lifetime, he once said: “I only compose music when I feel happy and optimistic, because I want to convey that to the listeners. The melody never stops ringing in my head, and my heart never stops loving. Now that I am old and no longer have a lover, I love life, love nature...”.
For him, no matter what life is like, people still have to maintain a positive spirit, direct their souls towards joy, so that each day of life has more meaningful, good, and valuable things, because "Life is still beautiful. Love is still beautiful!...".
With a lifetime devoted to music composition, musician Phan Huynh Dieu's great contributions to the country's art have been recognized by the State and awarded the Third Class Independence Medal, First Class Resistance Medal, First Class Anti-American Medal, and the Ho Chi Minh Prize for Literature and Arts.
The special art program Musician Phan Huynh Dieu - Love remains not only brings his valuable musical works closer to the people and young generation in Ho Chi Minh City, but also hopes to create opportunities for the public and young audiences to explore more deeply the heroic revolutionary history of the nation through music, contributing to arousing a deep patriotism among the people.
Musician Phan Huynh Dieu - Love Stays will have the participation of artists: People's Artist Tuyet Mai, Meritorious Artist Van Khanh, Meritorious Artist Khanh Ngoc, singers Hoang Bach, Quang Linh, Ho Trung Dung, Nguyen Phi Hung, Giang Hong Ngoc..., sand painting artist Tri Duc, Saxophone Pham Nguyen, Lac Viet group, Truc Xanh ethnic band...
