Ho Chi Minh City posts red warning signs at medical service providers that are suspended from operation.
The People's Committee of District 10, Ho Chi Minh City has just started posting red signs warning people not to visit or use beauty services at establishments that are violating the law and are currently suspended. This is a new way to help people identify establishments that are being suspended.
Previously, on July 18, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health received a hotline call reporting a beauty facility that did not meet the quality advertised online at 21, Street 8, Ha Do Centrosa area, Ward 12, District 10. This is a facility with the signboard "DR EVA" that was previously handled by the interdisciplinary inspection team of the District 10 People's Committee, suspending operations for 18 months, which is still in effect.
During the surprise inspection, the team found 7 female employees working. At the reception desk, many “DR.Van Clinic” tickets contained the names and phone numbers of customers who had undergone intimate area beautification services, all performed between the beginning of June and July 18, the time the facility was suspended.
All rooms are equipped with gynecological beds, surgical lights and medical equipment for intimate area cosmetic services. None of the staff working at “DR. Van Clinic” are masters or doctors as illegally advertised on Facebook, and none have a practicing certificate.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health will continue to consolidate the records, clarify the violations for strict handling, and consider transferring the records to the investigation agency. Immediately after that, the People's Committee of District 10 decided to hang a red sign with the message "The facility is suspended" in front of the facility to warn people.
