On January 19, regarding the case of 3 divers missing after a loud explosion, the leader of Ngoc Hien district (Ca Mau province) informed that the body of one of the victims had been found near the scene of the explosion.

Accordingly, the victim found was NCH (16 years old, residing in Nam Can district, Ca Mau province). H.'s body was intact and has been identified by his family.

Also today, the search for missing victims on Cua Lon River ended, and the task force left the scene.

As reported, people saw 3 divers including: NNT (42 years old), TVN (33 years old) and NCH (all living in Nam Can district) driving a boat to the Cua Lon river area in Tan An Tay commune, Ngoc Hien district.

At around 9:30 a.m., a loud explosion occurred, causing all three victims to go missing. Many witnesses said that on the tree branches around the scene, they found part of a body, suspected to be that of one of the victims.

VietNamNet 's source said that Mr. NNT had previously found the bomb and brought it near his home. This man planned to saw the bomb but was prevented by his family.

“Mr. T. and two other people, TVN and NCH, moved the bomb with a boat to the other side of the Cua Lon River, and then the unfortunate incident happened,” the source said.
