Coordinate with localities to review and install danger signs in areas at risk of drowning near or in schools and organize extracurricular activities on drowning prevention for students.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall increase the organization of swimming classes and teaching water safety skills for children at sports centers and public swimming pools; provide guidance on drowning prevention skills, test and evaluate knowledge and skills in drowning prevention for children and the community; strengthen the management of water sports activities, ensuring safety for children; coordinate with localities to review and install warning signs in areas at risk of drowning at tourist and entertainment venues.
Binh Phuoc Radio - Television and Newspaper are responsible for coordinating with relevant departments and branches to widely disseminate information on child drowning prevention through mass media. The Provincial Youth Union strengthens communication on safe swimming and child drowning prevention at youth union, association and team bases in the province.
People's Committees of districts, towns and cities develop and implement plans to prevent and combat child drowning in their localities; strengthen propaganda and education to raise public awareness of child drowning prevention and combat, especially in remote areas and areas with many ethnic minorities; review and count areas at risk of drowning, install warning signs; arrange rescue forces in areas at high risk of drowning; organize swimming classes and teach children water safety skills; carry out inspection and supervision of the implementation of regulations on child drowning prevention and combat.
