Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions celebrates Chol Chnam Thmay in Loc Ninh

At Chang Hai Pagoda (Loc Quang Commune), Soc Lon Pagoda (Loc Khanh Commune) and Loc Thanh Pagoda (Loc Thanh Commune), on behalf of the working delegation, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Dieu Nen sent best wishes to the abbot, monks and Khmer Buddhists to celebrate the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay festival joyfully, peacefully and happily.

On this occasion, the Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions also briefly informed about the socio-economic development situation of the province. Thereby, he hoped that the abbots, monks and Khmer Buddhists would continue to maintain solidarity, well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, maintain political security, social order and safety, and join hands to build the homeland of Binh Phuoc to develop more and more.

Another working delegation from the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions led by Deputy Director Hoang Cu also visited, presented gifts and wished the Khmer people a happy new year at Sreyodom Pagoda, Loc Hung Commune and Cha La Pagoda, Loc Thinh Commune, Loc Ninh District.

This year, the traditional Khmer New Year Chol Chnam Thmay takes place from April 14 to 16.
