Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 613 on assigning members of the Government to preside over working with localities on the situation of production and business, investment and construction, and import and export in the area. Specifically, the Prime Minister assigned Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, as a member of the Government to preside over working with two localities, Da Nang city and Hung Yen province. The working content is about the situation and solutions to promote production and business, public investment, infrastructure construction, import and export, removing difficulties in social housing, real estate market, discipline, administrative discipline and other emerging issues in the area.

The tasks and powers of the Government members assigned to preside over working with localities are implemented according to Article 3, Decision No. 435/2023 of the Prime Minister. Specifically, they are to develop plans, organize working groups with localities; report results to the Prime Minister and send them to the Ministry of Planning and Investment. Minister Luong Tam Quang will directly direct the handling of difficulties and problems in the localities assigned to work according to his authority; report to the Prime Minister (and send them to the Ministry of Planning and Investment for synthesis) on issues beyond his authority. He also has the right to request localities to report, provide information and data, assign staff to coordinate and resolve difficulties in that locality; perform other tasks that members of the Government have the authority to and under the direction of the Prime Minister.
