(NADS) - Implementing the Official Dispatch of the Ministry of Information and Communications on coordinating the organization of the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam" in 2024, on the afternoon of January 24, at the Headquarters of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists had a working session with the Department of External Information - Ministry of Information and Communications.
Attending the working session on behalf of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists were: National Assembly Delegate Tran Thi Thu Dong, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, President of the Association; Artist Ho Sy Minh, Permanent Vice President of the Association, Editor-in-Chief of Photography and Life Magazine; Artist Xuan Chinh, member of the Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Composition and Exhibition Board; Ms. Mai Thanh Nga, Deputy Chief of Office in charge.
On the side of the Department of External Information - Ministry of Information and Communications, there were: Mr. Nguyen Van Thuat, Deputy Director and comrades in the Department.
Following the success of the 2023 event, the Ministry of Information and Communications assigned the Department of Foreign Information to develop a plan to organize the "Happy Vietnam" Photo and Video Contest and Exhibition in 2024 to spread more widely the image of the happy Vietnamese country and people to the people of the whole country and international friends.
To make this year's contest even more successful, the Ministry of Information and Communications assigned the Department of External Information to work directly with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, and continue to coordinate more closely with the Ministry of Information and Communications in organizing this meaningful event nationwide.
The meeting achieved the results that both sides expected, making the contest more widespread, more effective and more advanced.
