A survey by Dan Tri reporters at a number of retail systems shows that in early spring, many retail systems are launching promotional programs with discounts on technology products, along with attractive gifts.
Meanwhile, users also take advantage of this occasion to buy technology products in the hope of having good luck in the year.
Mr. Le Quang Thang (Dao Tan, Hanoi), an office worker, shared: "On God of Wealth Day, I usually buy a technology item, hoping to receive good luck, fortune and wealth. Unlike many people who buy gold, I will choose items that I find more necessary."
According to Mr. Thang, he was very surprised when the store had a lucky draw program to win gold for customers.
High discount phone
The iPhone 16 Series is discounted by 1-2 million VND; specifically, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is discounted by more than 2 million VND, priced at only 32.79 million VND. Some dealers sell it for a lower price of 32.45 million VND.
For the lower version of the iPhone line, this product is enjoying a discount of 2 million VND.
Meanwhile, Samsung phone products receive higher incentives of up to 6 million VND. Typically, Samsung ZFold 6 costs 37.39 million VND (original price 43.99 million VND); ZFlip 6 costs 21.39 million VND (reduced by more than 7 million VND).

Notably, although the Samsung S25 series has not been officially sold in Vietnam, many dealers have offered pre-sale incentives for versions of this product, with discounts of up to 4 million VND.
In the low-cost phone segment, there are not many high incentives on this occasion, the discount ranges from 500 thousand to 1 million VND.
In addition, many technology accessories are also being discounted up to 70%. Note that the number of promotions is limited according to the program offered by the dealers.
Lucky draw for gold
In addition to direct discounts on products, some stores of the retail system also offer a lucky draw program with the chance to win 1 tael of gold, for orders over 5 million VND (unlimited number of orders). The number of gifts is up to 120 taels of gold.
Along with that, Valentine's Day (February 14) is coming, retail systems have also started launching promotional programs such as weekend golden hour sales, high discounts on many technology products.
According to retail systems, this year's technology market at the beginning of the year had slight growth compared to the same period last year.
Ms. Hoang Minh Tam, representative of a retail system, said: "Our observations show that the phone market at the beginning of the year still retains the heat of the Tet holiday period. The first week of February compared to the first week of January has seen slight growth."
"Currently, the system is running a number of promotional programs related to the weekend golden hour hot sale, the Super "Love" Treat program for the February 14 holiday. In particular, the system has just launched a membership program, allowing customers to receive discounts and accumulate points to enjoy incentives for their next purchases," he shared.
