At the beginning of the year, people often talk about new opportunities. As a businessman, how do you assess the opportunities for the country in 2025?
- I can say right away that I am very excited and full of hope! I work in the field of information technology and digital transformation. Hearing the decisive messages from the country's top leaders about choosing a path to make a difference, based on the foundation of innovation, creativity, and digital transformation, I am very happy and hope that there will be "boosts" for the information technology and digital transformation foundation of Vietnam.
There is a saying, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” There are many ways to connect, of which telecommunications is one of the most basic platforms. Can you share the solutions that FPT can help people and businesses connect with each other more effectively?
- Certainly, to do big things, the infrastructure must be ready and always "ahead". When we talk about digital transformation and modernization using artificial intelligence technology, telecommunications infrastructure will play an extremely important role. For FPT, we determine that we must constantly innovate and do better in our field, creating better experiences every day for our customers. FPT is a pioneer in bringing Wi-Fi 6 technology to households nationwide, not only improving customer experience but also recording outstanding results. Along with that, FPT constantly invests in enriching the content library for the FPT Play application to attract a strong audience growth thanks to high-quality movies and creative TV shows. FPT Telecom, represented by its member unit FPT Telecom International (FPT Telecom International - FTI), has recently participated in and continuously won bids for large information technology and telecommunications infrastructure projects, contributing to promoting the modernization and digital transformation process for businesses.
One of our recent notable projects is accompanying a large corporation in implementing the first artificial deep-water seaport project applying the most advanced 100% environmentally friendly, automated and intelligent technologies in Vietnam. FPT is focusing on many projects in the next 3-5 years to realize the country's ambition to grow, including: building 2-3 international cable lines connecting Vietnam with the world, establishing international standard data centers to meet the growing development needs of domestic partners and foreign investors, constantly improving and enhancing the user experience on FPT's platforms and applications.
