The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held the 42nd meeting

At the meeting, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council reported the expected content and agenda of the 19th session. The Committee on Culture and Society reported the results of the thematic supervision "Results of implementing policies and laws on tourism development in the province, period 2021-2023". The Economic-Budget Committee reported the results of the examination: Draft Resolution approving the 5-year land use plan for 2021-2025; Policy on building a new headquarters to address the need for working headquarters after merging 3 wards Kinh Dinh, My Huong, Tan Tai; Plan to supplement charter capital and investment capital to supplement charter capital of Ninh Thuan Lottery One Member Co., Ltd.; Adjustment to reduce the 2024 plan of central budget capital.

Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the 42nd meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term XI, 2021-2026.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council highly appreciated the preparations for the 19th session (the regular session in mid-2024) which were carried out urgently and responsibly, and the content of the meeting was closely reviewed. Regarding the report "Results of implementing policies and laws on tourism development in the province, period 2021-2023", Mr. Pham Van Hau requested departments and branches to clarify the shortcomings and limitations in concretizing the documents guiding the implementation of the Resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Council to make tourism a spearhead economic sector. In particular, focusing on consulting, analyzing the shortcomings and proposing solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles; proposing solutions to build regional linkages, investment promotion, advertising and developing new products to promote tourism development. For land use planning, it is necessary to deploy detailed planning of sectors, carefully review data, planning, and annual land use plans based on the provincial planning approved by the Prime Minister. Evaluate and explain specifically the coefficient of increase and decrease in annual land use scale and supplement clear legal basis for each content to ensure maximum exploitation of land resources. Agree on the policy of building a new headquarters to solve the need for working headquarters after merging 3 wards of Kinh Dinh, My Huong, Tan Tai. However, it is necessary to calculate the plan to use old facilities and materials after the merger to avoid waste. Agree on the policy of supplementing charter capital and investment capital to supplement charter capital of Ninh Thuan Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. When implementing, closely follow the provisions of law and instructions of ministries and branches.
