On January 26, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of central ministries, branches and Thanh Hoa province visited and presented gifts to policy families, poor households and workers in Ngoc Lac district. The Prime Minister noted that the Secretariat and the Prime Minister have issued a Directive to take care of Tet for the people, so Party committees and authorities at all levels must go deep, closely, down to the grassroots, down to the people to review poor households, single households, households in difficult circumstances, families with meritorious services to the revolution, to see who is lacking food, clothing, or Tet to have measures to take care of them, especially in mountainous and border districts; pay attention to households lacking rice, food, or sick.

According to the head of the Government, 2025 is a year with many important events for the country, and it is also the year we are actively implementing Resolution 18-NQ/TW on streamlining the organizational apparatus. Therefore, Thanh Hoa province must review in accordance with the direction of the Central Government; quickly arrange and reorganize the apparatus, stabilize the situation, and immediately get to work. The Prime Minister directed the Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee to actively direct this work, not to let the work be interrupted or blocked, especially the work related to the people and businesses.

Hundreds of billions of dong to care for the poor and families with meritorious services
According to the report of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the whole province has paid preferential allowances in January and February to more than 64,000 people with meritorious services to the revolution and their relatives, with a total budget of over 420 billion VND; paid social allowances in January-February 2025 to 187,494 subjects and households caring for and nurturing social protection subjects, with a total budget of over 142 billion VND; cared for, treated, ensured good policies and regimes and organized Tet and Spring activities for more than 2,000 subjects being cared for, nurtured and managed at social assistance facilities, nursing facilities for people with meritorious services to the revolution, and public drug rehabilitation facilities in the province.
All levels and sectors in the province have allocated budgets and mobilized socialized resources with a total amount of money and goods worth 375.192 billion VND to give to policy families, poor households, and people in difficult circumstances. Supported the construction and repair of more than 4,200 houses for poor households, policy families, and households with housing difficulties, contributing to creating a safe and happy "home" for people during Tet.
