Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is in Dalian City to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) and work in China.
Accompanying the Prime Minister were Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, Minister of Transport Nguyen Van Thang, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong, Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises Nguyen Hoang Anh, Deputy Minister of National Defense Vu Hai San, Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Bui Van Thach, Deputy Head of the Central External Relations Commission Ngo Le Van, Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Van Tuyen and many other senior officials.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's trip was at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab, to attend the 15th Annual Pioneers Meeting of the World Economic Forum held in Dalian city and work in China from June 24 to 27.

This year's WEF Dalian Conference, themed "New Growth Horizons", with the participation of 1,600 delegates, is organized with the spirit of being a place to converge and create new ideas, new fields, pioneering and innovative models that will shape future economic sectors.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is one of the few heads of government invited by WEF and host country China to attend the conference for two consecutive years. This shows that WEF and China highly value Vietnam's position, role and contribution to global economic growth as well as Vietnam's development vision for the economy in the future.
In China, the Prime Minister is expected to have a dense and continuous program of activities, both bilaterally and multilaterally. This year in particular, for the first time, the Prime Minister will deliver a special speech at the Opening Plenary Session with Chinese Premier Li Qiang and leaders of other countries. In addition, the Prime Minister will speak at discussion sessions at the Conference, chair dialogues and seminars with the business community specifically for Vietnam.
The Prime Minister will also have bilateral talks and meetings with senior Chinese leaders. In the context of the recent agreement between the two sides to deepen and elevate the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China, and to build a community of shared future of strategic significance between Vietnam and China.
