The Prime Minister approved the Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang and Ha Giang provinces.

Specifically, in Decision No. 21/QD-TTg dated January 3, 2025, the Prime Minister approved the results of the dismissal of Mr. Lam Minh Thanh from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province for the 2021-2026 term to take on a new assignment.

At the same time, in Decision No. 26/QD-TTg dated January 3, 2025, the Prime Minister approved the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Deputy Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province for the 2021-2026 term.

* Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan was born in 1977; hometown Tan Hiep district, Kien Giang province. He has the following qualifications: PhD in agricultural economics; Senior in politics.

Previously, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan held the positions of Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tien city; Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province.

Mr. Phan Huy Ngoc holds the position of Chairman of Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee.

In Decision No. 25/QD-TTg dated January 3, 2025, the Prime Minister approved the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Phan Huy Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Ha Giang Provincial Police.

* Mr. Phan Huy Ngoc was born on January 12, 1972; hometown is Nghia Hung commune, Vinh Tuong district, Vinh Phuc province. He has the following qualifications: Doctor of Law, Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of English Pedagogy; Senior in political theory.

Mr. Phan Huy Ngoc has held positions such as: Chief of Phu Tho Town Police (Phu Tho Province); Deputy Director of Phu Tho Provincial Police; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of Ha Giang Provincial Police; Deputy Secretary of Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee.

The above decisions take effect from January 3, 2025.
