On October 20, on the occasion of attending the ASEAN-GCC Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a bilateral meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, the Government Newspaper reported.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his pleasure to meet Prime Minister Hun Manet again at this conference, congratulating Prime Minister Hun Manet on his continued great achievements in maintaining stability, promoting socio-economic development, and improving people's lives since taking office.
The two sides informed each other of the positive developments in the cooperative relationship and the increasing political trust through meetings between senior leaders of the Party, State, Government and National Assembly, and agreed to closely coordinate to best prepare for the upcoming official visit to Vietnam by Prime Minister Hun Manet.
The two sides agreed to effectively implement the agreements signed between the two countries; promote cooperation and connectivity between the two economies, contributing to supporting each other in building an independent and self-reliant economy associated with deep, substantive and effective international integration; create more favorable conditions for investment and business cooperation activities of enterprises of the two countries, especially in areas such as border trade, economic development cooperation in border areas, and realizing the idea of tourism cooperation "one journey, three destinations" between Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
The two sides also agreed to continue to care for and create favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community in Cambodia to do business and live stably, as well as to strengthen people-to-people exchanges, especially between the young generations of the two countries, to foster affection, trust, and closeness with each other.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh conveyed the greetings of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and senior leaders of Vietnam to the King, Queen Mother, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), and other senior leaders and former leaders of Cambodia.
