In the last days of the year, the fertile countryside at the foot of Huong Tich Pagoda (Can Loc - Ha Tinh) has been given a new coat of paint. The model new rural commune Thien Loc is ready to enter the festival season.
Associated with the history of formation and development of Can Loc district, Thien Loc land located at the foot of Hong mountain has long been known to people throughout the country for its legendary story about Huong Tich pagoda and its beautiful landscape - the place known as "Hoan Chau's most famous landscape".
The cable car system of Huong Tich Pagoda has just been maintained and is ready for the festival season.
With the infrastructure investment of the tourism development project from ADB capital, the road to Huong Tich Pagoda is now very convenient for tourists. Electric cars, cable cars, boats and walking paths help tourists experience the journey to the Buddha's land in their own way to immerse themselves in the mountains, rivers, clouds and sky of Ngan Hong. In 2023, Huong Tich Pagoda will welcome 135,000 visitors to enjoy and worship.
Promoting the potential and advantages of the locality, the idea of doing tourism and promoting the image of the homeland has been deeply ingrained in the minds of the people and is considered one of the spearheads of economic development. Accordingly, every inch of land, every agricultural product or landscape in the belt area along the foot of Hong Mountain is gradually becoming a unique tourism product.
Thien Loc in the days of preparing to enter the festival season seems to put on a new vitality. It is a livable space of a model new rural area that has been realized by the motto that each residential area has its own beauty to attract tourists when participating in tours and tourist routes; it is a fertile field of hundreds of hectares stretching along the foot of the mountain with products such as vegetables, onions, pickled onions...; it is the brilliant colors of banners, slogans, red bougainvillea trellis and the road to Huong Tich Pagoda tourist area dyed purple by Bauhinia flowers.

Mr. Vo Minh Dan - Vice Chairman of Thien Loc Commune People's Committee informed: "To prepare for the festival season, recently, the local government has directed the villages to strengthen environmental sanitation, tidy up village roads, residential areas, trim and take care of flower streets. At the same time, the locality has developed a plan, assigned organizations to prepare folk games; increased coordination with the Management Board (MB) of Huong Tich Pagoda Tourist Area to contribute to ensuring security and safety before, during and after the festival".
Along with the initiative of the local government, in the days before Tet, Thien Loc farmers are also racing against time, preparing agricultural products to serve tourists. Ms. Nguyen Thi Quy in Hong Tan village said: “For us, the festival season is also the season that brings hope for income and promotes local agricultural products. Following the footsteps of tourists, vegetables, especially Thien Loc shallots, have become known to people across the country. Thanks to that, the Thien Loc shallot brand is increasingly consolidated, and people's income is increasingly improved."

With the desire to organize an impressive festival event, opening the 2024 tourism year on a land rich in cultural sediments, the Management Board of Huong Tich Pagoda Tourist Area is making efforts to deploy preparation work. That is, coordinating with related sectors to promote propaganda work on mass media; creating QR codes to introduce Huong Tich Pagoda Tourist Area and multimedia explanations; strengthening tour and route connections. In particular, recently, the Management Board of Huong Tich Pagoda Tourist Area launched a website to help tourists and local people better understand the history of the pagoda, introduce tours, routes, tourism services and OCOP products in the area.
“At this time, we are urgently completing the renovation and repair of items: the road to the pagoda, the stage, the festival space in the square area of the tourist area management board, the ticket gate, check-in points... to create highlights for tourists. At the same time, the heritage system exhibition house, agricultural product stores, and local commercial booths have been gradually put into operation, contributing to creating highlights, introducing and promoting to tourists the image of the land and people of Can Loc”, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Ha - Head of the Huong Tich Pagoda Tourism Management Board shared.
Along with the laws of nature, the earth and sky, the clear movements in the picture of life of Thien Loc are also present in the sound of singing on the deep green Ngan Hong; in the rich colors of the residential areas... and in the excitement of people's hearts. Thien Loc is ready to enter the festival season.
