On the opening day of the festival, thousands of tourists braved the rain to go to Huong Tich Pagoda in Can Loc District (Ha Tinh) to burn incense and enjoy the scenery.
This morning (February 3, the 6th day of Tet), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh coordinated with Can Loc district to organize the opening ceremony of Huong Tich Pagoda - opening the Ha Tinh tourism year 2025. Despite the cold and rainy weather, thousands of tourists still "braved the rain" to visit the pagoda, burn incense, and pray for a peaceful new year.
When coming to Huong Tich Pagoda, visitors make offerings and read prayers for a peaceful new year. In addition, many visitors anoint the Tiger God statue with oil and rub it on themselves in the hope of being cured of their illnesses.

"As usual, every year my family and I go to Huong Tich Pagoda to pray for a peaceful new year. In the main hall there is a statue of the Tiger God, I bought essential oil and brought it to the pagoda. After burning incense, I rubbed the oil on the tiger's back, then on my own back in the hope that my degenerative spine disease would heal quickly," said Nam.
