Quang Nam Library organizes reading festival at Thang Binh school

(QNO) - Last weekend, Quang Nam Provincial Library coordinated with the Center for Culture, Information and Communication of Thang Binh district to organize the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 with the message "Reading Culture - Connecting the Community".

The reading festival took place at Kim Dong Primary School (Ha Lam town) with more than 500 students from grades 3, 4, and 5 participating.

Many useful activities took place at the festival such as: Introducing books by topic; telling stories about the student’s favorite book; students making characters based on textbooks; knowledge competition and other interesting experiential activities. At the festival, books were also given to poor students, and book models were displayed and explained.

The provincial library also organized a mobile library with more than 2,000 books on various topics to serve the festival.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh - Provincial Library staff said that every year the Provincial Library deploys a mobile library trip, bringing books to children, especially in remote communes. Through the festival, it contributes to forming the habit of reading, becoming a cultural beauty, helping to nurture and develop the soul and personality of people in the new era.

The book festival will continue to be held at Luong The Vinh Primary School and Tran Quoc Toan Primary School (Ha Lam town).
