The Provincial Party Committee Conference gave opinions on reorganizing administrative units and organizing two-level local government.

Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee delivered a speech directing the Conference.

The conference gave opinions on the draft Project on rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and organizing local governments at two levels in Thai Nguyen province; policies on cadres; decided to establish a working group to review and update party member records when rearranging the apparatus; considered admitting new party members and recognizing official party members; and considered and concluded on political standards of cadres.

Comrade Nguyen Quoc Huu, Head of the Party Organization Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs presented some contents of the draft Project at the Conference.

Along with that, delegates also focused on giving opinions on the draft regulations on funding to support the implementation of teaching and learning Vietnamese for ethnic minority children before entering first grade in Thai Nguyen province; the draft Resolution regulating the content and level of expenditure for implementing science and technology tasks under the management of Thai Nguyen province; the Decision to establish Steering Committee 35, a team of reporters and social opinion collaborators of the Party Committee of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee.

Delegates gave their opinions on the draft Project on rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and organizing local governments at two levels in Thai Nguyen province.

Speaking at the Conference, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee commended the Standing Committee, the Party Committee Office, departments and branches for their efforts to complete and keep up with the progress in developing the draft Project. He requested the Standing Committee to directly collect opinions from the members of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee to complete it on schedule, to submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, and the Steering Committee for the implementation of the arrangement and reorganization of administrative units at all levels and the organization of local governments at 2 levels of Thai Nguyen province in accordance with regulations. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized: The Provincial Party Committee basically agreed with the contents of the draft Project, and at the same time reminded the members of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee and the staff to continue to uphold the sense of responsibility before the Party, before the People, before history in the process of developing the Project; in the process of advising on the development and completion of the Project, it is necessary to pay attention to the cultural, historical and social factors of each locality.
