Accordingly, he emphasized: The streamlining and rearrangement of the apparatus in the entire political system in the spirit of Resolution 18 of the Politburo has been implemented by our Party and State since 2017 and has now entered a drastic phase, which is determined to be a golden opportunity to release institutional bottlenecks, rebuild the apparatus in the political system to bring our country into a new era, an era of prosperity and development. On April 1, 2025, Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee announced the decision to merge Yen Bai Newspaper and the provincial Radio and Television Station.

Accordingly, Yen Bai Newspaper is a group 2 autonomous public service unit with 9 specialized departments including: News Department; Special Topics - Arts Department; Editorial Secretary - Digital Content Department; Radio - Television Department; Print - Electronic Newspaper Department; Ethnic Department; Technical - Technology Department; Administration - Management Department; Service - Advertising Department.

Yen Bai Newspaper becomes a multimedia press agency with the following types: Print newspaper (including print newspaper and highland newspaper), Electronic newspaper, Television - Radio with 4 languages ​​(including Vietnamese - Thai - Dao - Mong), information channel on digital platform.

Emphasizing that the tasks of Yen Bai Newspaper from now until the end of the year are still very large and heavy, in order for the new agency to operate according to the Project's objectives and at the same time perform well the assigned tasks, the Editor-in-Chief requested the comrades in the Editorial Board and leaders of specialized departments to quickly start working from April 15. Accordingly, in all positions, comrades in the Editorial Board, leaders of specialized departments, cadres, civil servants and workers all need to strive, support and learn from each other to achieve the goal of being able to participate in all types of journalism as soon as possible to do a good job of propaganda and actively contribute to the innovation process of the agency as well as the province.
