According to Mr. Tran Duc Minh, Vice President of Hanoi University of Business and Technology, in recent times, the school has always made efforts to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and France through participating in all activities of the Representative Office of the Francophone Association of Vietnam (BRAP) and the Representative Office of Francophone Universities in Hanoi (AUF).
The establishment of a new branch at the school will create opportunities for the school to continue activities to strengthen and develop the relationship between the two countries for peace, cooperation and socio-economic development. In the near future, the school will open French language training classes for students to encourage and expand the study of French in the school. At the same time, a plan will be developed to open Vietnamese language training classes for French people in Vietnam.
“Every year, the school still sends hundreds of students to foreign universities such as Taiwan, Singapore, the United States, etc. Hopefully in the coming years, many students and teachers of the school will be sent to France for training, contributing to the development and expansion of relations between the two countries,” said Mr. Tran Duc Minh.
Speaking at the ceremony, French Ambassador to Vietnam Olivier Brochet said that cooperation in scientific research and university training between Vietnam and France is very important because it trains students who will in the future become the link between the two nations in all fields.

There are currently 54 French-style training programs, with French degrees, awarded in Vietnam. With the advantage of good training quality and much lower training costs than other countries in the region, about 1,500 Vietnamese students go to France to study every year. Ambassador Olivier Broche assessed that the school's opening of French language training classes will be a language foundation for students to access higher training courses in France later.
“The Embassy will organize a seminar to introduce and advise staff, teachers and students on opportunities to study in France through many scholarship programs. At the same time, it will introduce internship opportunities for medical students studying at the school. Hopefully, the activities will be practical and effective, helping the Association develop strongly,” Ambassador Olivier Broche affirmed.
Tet, Happy New Year… the words and images of the red flag with yellow star continue to blend into the stream of shoppers coming and leaving Carrefour. For the third consecutive year, perhaps many French consumers have recognized the word “Tet”. |
From February 17 to 20, within the framework of activities to promote cooperation and strengthen friendship with French localities, Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang visited and worked in Grenoble city and visited the Vietnamese community on the occasion of Lunar New Year. |
