In addition to detecting and strictly handling violations, inspection work must detect loopholes in mechanisms and policies, thereby advising on amending, supplementing and perfecting policies. Government leaders noted that inspection work must serve socio-economic development and not become an obstacle to the development process.

According to Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, the inspectorate must play an important role in evaluating cadres throughout the system, helping the Party have a more accurate view of the cadre team. "To show whether this person is worthy of praise, worthy of appointment, and the highest goal of the inspectorate is to maintain discipline, the law, and maintain legal order" - the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister clearly stated.

In the inspection work, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister requested to improve the quality of this activity, the inspection conclusion must be reasonable, focusing on a number of cases of waste, so that from the conclusion, solutions to prevent and combat waste can be proposed.

Continue to perform well the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations according to the provisions of law. Proactively implement the Program and work plan of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and negativity; tasks assigned by the Government, Prime Minister, and heads of administrative agencies at all levels.

The Government leader also requested the Government Inspectorate to improve the effectiveness of preventive solutions, strengthen the detection and handling of corruption and negativity; implement the project on restructuring and streamlining the apparatus according to the plan approved by competent authorities, ensure continuity and no interruption of work and after restructuring, must operate more effectively and efficiently.

Assessing the results of the inspection sector in 2024, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh stated that the entire sector has discovered many violations, proposed to handle and recover a large amount of assets for the State, both in terms of financial value and land; transferred more than 200 cases to the investigation agency. This is a good result, contributing significantly to maintaining discipline and order in the country.

In addition, the inspection sector has also well implemented the direction of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; focused on doing a good job of building institutions, especially specialized institutions, contributing to creating a legal corridor for the prevention and combat of corruption, waste and negativity.

The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the Government Inspectorate and ministries for removing difficulties and obstacles related to projects and land in the inspection, examination and judgment conclusions in a number of provinces and cities.
