'Youth Live Beautifully' – A Journey to Energize the Young Generation

Recently, the 2024 “Journey and Award Ceremony for Beautifully Living Youth” concluded with an honoring night held on October 16 in Hanoi, honoring 20 examples of beautiful and useful living representing the Vietnamese youth generation.

Sharing about the 5-year cooperation with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union in the "Journey and Awarding of Youth Living Beautifully" event, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hien Huy - General Director of TCP Vietnam Company and Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy, member of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, permanent vice president of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, shared more about the cooperation between the two sides and the next plans in the journey of energizing the young generation.

* How do you feel about the 20 beautiful living examples of this year?

Mr. Nguyen Quang Hien Huy : This year, after the journey of searching for examples of “Beautiful Youth”, the list of 20 outstanding young people has been announced. Honestly, even though it has been the fifth season that the company has had the opportunity to accompany the organization of the program, I am still surprised and moved by the stories of the 20 young people on the honor list.

In addition to some outstanding young examples, who have appeared frequently in the press, such as football player Nguyen Tien Linh, we also had the opportunity to talk about silent examples, such as Dang Thi Ha, the enthusiastic nurse who was on duty 24/7 with patients in the mini apartment fire in Bach Mai, or Venerable Thich Minh Tri (abbot of Long Buu Pagoda) - who successfully built 24 charity houses, bridges, roads, and toilets for rural people.

Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy : The 20 outstanding young people receiving awards this year are all exceptionally outstanding examples of young people. We cannot forget the images of Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan and Mr. Dong Van Tuan using sledgehammers to break down walls to save people in a fire on Trung Kinh Street. We also cannot fail to mention police officers like Mr. Ban Van Lu, who was brave and willing to accept danger to save people in a landslide in Lao Cai.

I hope that each young person receiving the award will be aware of their own pride and honor to continue to pioneer in portraying a generation of young people who are community-oriented, responsible, committed to volunteering, and become good citizens of the country.

* What is the company's vision when accompanying the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union with the "Journey and awarding of Beautiful Youth"?

Mr. Nguyen Quang Hien Huy : Over the past 5 years, TCP Vietnam has been honored to accompany the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union on the "Journey and Award of Beautiful Youth". Right from the first years of implementing the "Beautiful Youth" Award with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, the company has focused on one main focus, which is to spread many good stories, positive energy of young people and inspire the whole community to join hands to develop the country and the Vietnamese people to become more civilized and prosperous.

Since entering the Vietnamese market, the company has consistently built its operations on three key strategies: “Perfect – Develop – Care”. Specifically, with the pillar of “Care”, our commitment is clearly demonstrated through a series of programs and activities that we have implemented, focusing on initiatives aimed at the youth force.

Accordingly, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union is one of the company's strategic and important partners, helping us get closer to the young generation.

In cooperation with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, we have organized programs such as "Young workers - Spreading positive energy", "Shining Vietnamese Willpower", "Journey and awarding of Beautiful Youth", the project "Youth Sports Space - Replenishing energy, rejuvenating youth"...

All are opportunities for the company to nurture and energize the young generation, thereby helping them have a rich life both physically and mentally.

* How will these cooperation activities take place in the future?

Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy : Through the cooperation, we believe that the positive energy and the fire of determination we spread are truly in the right direction. In the consecutive periods of 2020-2022 and 2023-2025, TCP Vietnam and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union have signed agreements to continue to cooperate and coordinate closely in the process of implementing programs in many fields, conveying more beautiful life stories and spreading positive energy to the young generation in particular and the whole society in general.

We believe this is also an affirmation for implementing projects in a meticulous and well-planned manner to create more positive impacts.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Hien Huy : In the future, with the orientation of "Replenishing Energy, Reviving Life" of TCP Group as a guideline, we commit to continuously contributing resources and new initiatives to work with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union to implement long-term plans, meaningful programs and activities for the young generation, thereby fulfilling the social responsibility of the enterprise, building a sustainable developing enterprise, growing in parallel with the development of the young generation of Vietnam.
