Thanh Lam reunites with Quoc Trung, MC Thao Van is ready to 'transform' at the gala night

Ms. Nguyen My Trang, a member of the Organizing Committee of 'Capital Alumni Gala' season 2, affirmed that the program is not an entertainment show for business purposes, but hundreds of artists participate because of their great love for music.

''We spent a lot of time and effort discussing, practicing and getting ready to give it our all in the upcoming gala night. We believe that the passion of youth and creativity in art will be a flame that will burn forever,'' Ms. Nguyen My Trang shared.

Musician Quoc Trung said he could not refuse the invitation from the Organizing Committee because for artists like him, music activities during student days were also the premise for developing a music career later on.

The Phuong Dong band of musician Quoc Trung in the past will reappear at this gala with the participation of singer Thanh Lam. Regarding the performances, musician Quoc Trung asked to keep them a secret and cannot reveal the details yet.

''This gala is an opportunity for me to meet my colleagues again, and it is also a healthy activity for the elderly. Who knows, this is a chance to meet many old girlfriends and maybe even new girlfriends when participating in the program'' - musician Quoc Trung humorously said.

MC Long Vu believes that the older people get, the more nostalgic they become about the past, especially about good, happy things. And student life is the most beautiful time of their lives.

“The student gala brings us back to those exciting and romantic days. I look forward to April 12 with excitement and nervousness. Meeting thousands of old friends at the same time is not something that happens every year or every month,” MC Long Vu confided.

As one of the artists participating in the program, MC Thao Van is so excited that if the organizers come up with new ideas, she is ready to follow them, even "transforming" her style to become a different Thao Van than everyone usually sees.

''Imagine 20 years from now, we will reminisce about this moment on the gala stage. At that time, we may be old and have grey hair, but we will smile happily and proudly because we had such wonderful moments" - MC Thao Van confided.

In addition to musical performances, the 2025 Capital Alumni Gala also features designer Anh Thu and special performances by actress Hoang Xuan, Miss Hanoi Bang Giang, Miss Hanoi Thu Hang, supermodel Hai Yen, etc.

During the rehearsal for the program, the artists sang together the song We are the world with the presence of many former student singers such as: MC Dinh Tien Dung, singer Thanh Tam, Dinh Lan Huong, Van Sandra, Tung John, Ngo Viet Khoi, Le Quang Ha, Nguyen Vo Chanh, Long Vy, Nguyen Duc Hiep, ABBA Vietnam group...

Artists will participate in the photo shoot with the organizers.

During the official show, the organizers plan to perform the song We are the world with the live harmonization on stage of more than 100 artists and the resonance of thousands of audiences, creating memorable moments...
