Hanoi Youth Union meets young volunteers leaving for military service

Kinhtedothi- On February 11, the Hanoi Youth Union coordinated with the Capital Command to organize a meeting with young volunteers leaving for military service and outstanding discharged soldiers in 2025.


The program was attended by Lieutenant General, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, Hero of Labor Pham Tuan; Lieutenant General Tran Ngoc Tuan - Political Commissar of the Hanoi Capital Command; along with 80 young volunteers who will join the army in 2025; 20 outstanding demobilized soldiers and more than 100 members of the Capital's Youth Union.

The program has well implemented the military rear policy, encouraging and motivating union members and young people of the capital to perform military service, participate in building and defending the Fatherland.

Speaking at the program, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Tran Quang Hung said that the soldiers leaving for military service are exemplary young men, continuing the fine traditions of previous generations, carrying the spirit of youth, ready to protect the Fatherland.

With outstanding demobilized soldiers returning to their localities, the Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union expressed his hope that they would promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, of the People's Public Security soldiers "Forgetting themselves for the country, serving the people"; becoming the core force in local movements.

The program took place with the theme "Aspiration to contribute - Firm steps for the future" to inspire and encourage young people to continue the tradition of their ancestors, strive to study and train to build and protect the country worthy of previous generations.

Hero Pham Tuan advised the new recruits about to join the army to study well, be creative in their professional expertise, have the courage of a soldier, and uphold the determination to carry out and complete their tasks well.

The delegates sent many meaningful messages to the young union members preparing to leave to fulfill their sacred duty to the Fatherland and expressed their hope that the young union members would continue the tradition of their ancestors, striving to study and train to build and protect the country worthy of previous generations.

This is an annual activity jointly organized by the Hanoi Youth Union and the Hanoi Capital Command to create solidarity, cohesion, and an exciting atmosphere; to motivate participation and dedication in the cause of building and protecting the capital and the country, rich, civilized and modern, bringing the country to develop rapidly and sustainably into a new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.

At the program, the Hanoi Youth Union presented certificates and gifts to 80 young volunteers who will join the army in 2025; presented certificates of merit from the Hanoi Youth Union to 20 outstanding demobilized soldiers; presented 5 gifts to young volunteers who are in difficult circumstances... The total value of gifts at the program was nearly 50 million VND.
