Hurryking - IndieK makes Suboi blush
Rap Viet episode 9 season 3 aired on the evening of July 22 witnessed a fierce confrontation between contestants on coach BigDaddy's team.
The first pair are two contestants of Rap Viet season 1, Tez and gung0cay. Combining the performance of "Bo the sao", the couple made the whole studio dance to the rhythm of the rap song.
Coach BigDaddy shared that Tez – gung0cay did not want to be paired together but he wanted to see how these two best friends would show their personalities and compete with each other.
At the end of the performance, coach BRay threw his yellow hat on stage to support the performance, even though it was no longer valid.
The judge added: "I think both of them are very smart in using their lyrics. No matter how smart gung0cay is, even when it comes to Tez's part, he doesn't lose a single bit. This is a very balanced confrontation. I wish the show would give me another golden hat so I could throw it to you two."
Judge Karik commented: "When you returned to season 3, you proved that you can do better than season 1 and have improved a lot."
Tez received 52 points and gung0cay received 48 points. In the end, the three judges decided that Tez would be the one to move on to the next round.

The second pair, Hurryking - IndieK, made judge Suboi blush with their "confession" rap performance based on Suboi's original song "Bet on us". The song's content captivated judge Suboi, causing the female rapper to... hide behind her chair.
Expressing her gratitude for the gifts from the two contestants, Suboi shared: "It's true that when it comes to sending love to someone, it doesn't necessarily have to be about love between a boy and a girl. I myself have also sent a lot of love to things in life. I also hope that everyone doesn't think wrongly about this performance."
Result: Hurryking 54 points - IndieK 46 points. Judge Suboi holds flowers from the show to give to the person who moves on to the next round: Hurryking, meaning that rapper IndieK will participate in the 8 bar round (rescue battle).
Phap Kieu - SnoopDee with an entertaining rap
Rap Viet episode 9 season 3 witnessed the explosive match between Phap Kieu and SnoopDee. Coach BigDaddy asked SnoopDee and Phap Kieu to rap about the things they don't like in life, with a witty and humorous expression.
Phap Kieu and SnoopDee made the studio explode with the rap "Hong co tua".
Their rap "Hong co tua" is entertaining and vibrant, making everyone on stage unable to stand still.
MC Tran Thanh exclaimed: "I have never seen contestants compete with such great charisma."
Coach Andree Right Hand said he couldn't hear the words clearly because the audience was shouting too much.
Coach Thai VG responded: "Earlier Andree said that you are like Lil Nas X but I don't think so, I think you can be even better than that. I think you can reach international level!".
As a result, Phap Kieu received 73 points and SnoopDee 27 points. The judges decided that Phap Kieu would move on to the next round with coach BigDaddy, and SnoopDee would compete in the 8 bar round.
With the couple OgeNus - Limitlxss, the performance "Anh khong y ý soo" also received the audience's response from the first melodies.
Coach Andree Right Hand said: "You both are very confident, a pair of 49 meeting 50 makes Andree not know who to choose."
As a result, OgeNus received an overwhelming number of votes with 81 points and 19 points for Limitlxss. The three judges chose OgeNus to move on to the breakthrough round, Limitlxss to compete in the 8 bar round.

After the competition in round 8 bars, BigDaddy decided to choose gung0cay as the last member to accompany the team to the breakthrough round.
In Rap Viet episode 9 season 3, all the coaches lost their yellow hats so they couldn't save any more contestants.
At the end of episode 10, the four teams' lineups are officially complete.
Coach Thai VG leads with 347 points with: VolTak, Toi, Liu Grace, Mikelodic, Long Non La and yellow hat Yuno BigBoi.
Coach BigDaddy is close behind with 344 points with: Tez, Hurryking, OgeNus, Phap Kieu, gung0cay and the yellow hat for Double2T.
Coach B Ray 336 points with the lineup: LoR, CAPTAIN, Huynh Cong Hieu, 24k.Right, DT Tap Rap and a yellow hat for Dlow.
Last place is Coach Andree Right Hand with 328 points and the lineup: Strange H, Rhyder, MinhLai, SMO, Richie D. ICY and the yellow hat for Hydra.
