Warm Tet with military-civilian relations in Hanoi Capital

Responding to the Movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind", the Hanoi Capital Command coordinated with Ba Vi district, socio-political organizations of Hanoi city and businesses in the area to organize the Program "Spring of solidarity - Tet with warm military-civilian affection" in 2024.

The program was held from January 30-31 in Phu Son commune, Ba Vi district with two main contents: Bringing soldiers home to celebrate Tet with the people and propagating and encouraging young people to join the army in 2024.

This is a meaningful activity to further strengthen the military-civilian relationship, and to carry out the role and function of the working army of the Hanoi Capital Armed Forces.

The program has many exciting activities such as: propaganda about the traditional history and cultural beauty of the traditional Tet; the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; the spirit of mutual love, mutual assistance and the close-knit military-civilian solidarity; displaying booths of soldiers' products, local agricultural products and specialties; cleaning the landscape and environment; repairing and organizing incense offerings at the Phu Son martyrs' cemetery; organizing haircuts for the people; medical examination, health consultation, medicine provision; giving gifts, banh chung, New Year greetings to families with preferential policies, some families in difficult circumstances, poor students overcoming difficulties, soldiers completing their military service in 2023 and young people preparing to join the army in 2024; banh chung wrapping and boiling contest; cultural and artistic exchanges, folk games, etc.

Speaking at the program, Lieutenant General Tran Ngoc Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Hanoi Capital Command, emphasized that this is a program of practical significance, affirming the function of the working army, closely attached to the people of the Hanoi Capital Armed Forces, affirming the unique values of the Heroic Vietnam People's Army - the Army of the people, by the people, for the people. At the same time, this is also a program to carry out a series of CTĐ and CTCT activities to encourage and promote the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2024.

During the two days of military-civilian Tet activities, the Hanoi Capital Command, agencies, businesses and units have accompanied and supported, carefully prepared, built program content and activities that are truly meaningful and effective, meeting the expectations and essential needs of the people.

Through these activities, we have contributed to propagating and educating cadres, soldiers, youth union members, association members and people about the traditional beauty, the spirit of mutual love and support of the nation, the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and practically responding to the Movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind".

The event contributes to raising awareness, positivity, and self-awareness in fulfilling citizens' responsibilities to the Fatherland, joining hands to build new rural areas in the locality, and building increasingly prosperous families and homeland.
