Professional training for grassroots police force

With the aim of building a commune-level police force capable of handling the situation right from the grassroots level, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation, Lam Dong Police has organized professional training courses for commanders, officers and soldiers of the police in communes, wards and towns across the province.

By participating in the training course, trainees will be equipped and updated with the latest viewpoints and policies of the Party, policies and laws of the State, along with specialized professional skills. The focus is on 33 topics such as: Recruitment of the People's Public Security in 2025; receiving, classifying and handling denunciations and reports of crimes; registration and management of weapons, explosives, support tools, conditional investment and business sectors on security and order; registration and management of residence, issuance and management of identification cards, electronic identification, management and exploitation of population data, identification data, etc., as well as some basic issues on the functions, tasks and powers of local police, work procedures of the public order police force, and rapid response police.

In addition to providing professional knowledge, the training course also focuses on improving communication and behavioral skills with the people. Thereby, promoting the close relationship between the People's Public Security force and the masses, helping officers and soldiers effectively apply knowledge to practical work.

From now until April 17, 2025, 2,050 students will participate in 15 training courses organized by Lam Dong Police.
