Tan Chau: Started construction of 22 houses of gratitude and solidarity

Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee; Ms. Duong Thi Vat, Vice Chairman of the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. On the sponsor side, there was Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hung Nhon Group.

Tan Chau district leaders and sponsors performed the groundbreaking ceremony.

This time, Tan Chau district started building 3 gratitude houses, 19 solidarity houses for 22 households with difficult housing circumstances; the subjects are meritorious people, poor households, near-poor households, poor households according to the province's standards in the communes of Tan Ha, Tan Dong, Tan Hoi, Tan Hoa and Suoi Ngo.

The total construction cost is nearly 2 billion VND, drawn from the Provincial and District Funds for the Poor, contributed by benefactors. In addition, Fico Tay Ninh Cement Joint Stock Company supports each solidarity house with 100 bags of cement.
