The joy was overwhelming when in 1992, Thuy passed the entrance exam to the Pedagogical Department of Nghe An Pedagogical College. In 1994, after graduating, Ms. Thuy was assigned to teach at Nghia Trung B Primary School. After 17 years of teaching, in 2011 she was appointed Vice Principal of Nghia Binh Primary School.
With a passion for her profession, she always researches and learns to innovate in order to improve the quality of education, thereby creating a favorable environment for teachers to promote their creativity in teaching. Due to achieving many positive results, in 2013, she was assigned to the Department of Education, in charge of primary school.
During her work, Ms. Thuy has had many initiatives recognized at the provincial and district levels and effectively applied in primary schools in the district such as: Vietnamese language program for grade 1, educational technology, software application in teaching, integrating learning through games in subjects, STEM teaching...
With her colleagues, she is willing to share her experiences and cares about training to improve the professional qualifications and skills of young staff and teachers. She always encourages the teaching staff to study and improve themselves to have solid professional capacity, thanks to which the quality of the school's key education always achieves high results.
Teachers must be exemplary role models.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuong, a teacher at Nghia Dan Town Primary School, shared: "Ms. Thuy is a key professional of the district. I have been guided a lot by her. Especially, in the competitions for excellent teachers of the district and province, she always guides me very enthusiastically. In life, she is like a caring and close older sister...".
In management and innovation at the school level, Ms. Thuy also participates in researching many highly applicable scientific topics on initiatives and solutions for the school level such as: Solutions to increase parents' participation in teaching and learning activities, building classes at primary schools in the area; solutions to manage and innovate library activities, and develop a reading culture in primary schools.

"To complete the task well, each teacher must be an exemplary role model for students to follow. No one is perfect from the beginning, but they need to be aware of their profession to improve themselves. Teachers are not always right, students are not always wrong...", Ms. Thuy shared.
According to the Distinguished Teacher, teachers must always look at and evaluate all issues objectively to draw experiences and lessons through communication with students. Good teachers, in addition to skills, must also have appropriate teaching methods, grasp students' psychology, and correctly assess the cognitive ability, capacity and development of each student.
"From there, I innovated teaching methods and designed lessons suitable for students. What I believe most in my profession is to put my heart first. Dedication and passion are the foundation for me to gradually build my career of "growing people", Ms. Thuy shared more.
According to Ms. Thuy, with the increasing demand for innovation in teaching methods and professional knowledge, if teachers do not regularly research and learn on their own, it will be difficult to meet the requirements.
For her, each lesson is not only prepared with knowledge and professional skills but also requires tact in cultural behavior and patience and perseverance in educating students. Therefore, in her way of education, there is no rigidity, but she and her students participate in learning comfortably and naturally.
