According to the initial investigation, at around 7:00 a.m. on March 31, 2025, Mr. NLQ (born in 1983, permanent residence in Lam Dong province; temporary residence at: Tan Dong Hiep ward, Di An city, Binh Duong province) was driving a motorbike to take his child to school. When Mr. Q reached Road No. 10 in Dong Thanh residential area, a car with license plate 30G - 199.90 driven by Nguyen Tien Hai (born in 1985; permanent residence in Nghe An province) encroached on the lane, causing a conflict between the two sides.

According to the camera footage, although there had not been a traffic collision, Hai aggressively took a metal stick from the car and ran to hit Mr. Q many times on the head, arms and calves, causing injuries. Afterwards, Hai drove away to Nghe An province.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Criminal Police Department of Binh Duong Province Police proceeded to verify the case. During the pursuit, it was determined that Hai was driving a 30G-199.90 car on National Highway 1A in Ninh An Commune, Ninh Hoa Town, Khanh Hoa Province, so they coordinated with Khanh Hoa Province Police to arrest the subject and extradite him to Binh Duong Province for further investigation.
