In just a few hours, the Euro 2024 finals will kick off in Germany, with the opening match between Germany and Scotland at 2am on June 15 (9pm June 14 local time).
Before the ball rolls, the Football Arena Munich (renamed during the tournament, instead of Allianz Arena, because UEFA has regulations to avoid conflicts with sponsors' interests) will host a rather brief opening ceremony, lasting less than 10 minutes. The ceremony starts at 1:44 because at 1:53, the players of both teams will take to the field to warm up.

Ten dancers and nine acrobats will perform around the giant 18-meter-high trophy. 250 volunteers will carry the flags of the 24 participating national teams and march into the stadium.
A cold beer is a must on a summer day.
The strange thing is that the official song of the award – Fire, by American band OneRepublic, German singer Leony and Italian duo Meduza – will not be performed but only broadcast.
The opening ceremony, of course, will not lack a technological display, with 60 fireworks and 10 smoke bombs.
The emotional part of the opening ceremony will be a tribute to the legendary Franz Beckenbauer, who passed away in January this year. His wife, Heidi, will carry the championship trophy onto the field.

Former players Jurgen Klinsmann and Bernhard Dietz then entered the field and paid tribute to the former star who won the World Cup with Germany as both a player and as a coach.
