On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024), on November 5, at the residential area (KDC) of Teng village, Ba Thanh commune, Ba To district, Quang Ngai province, the "National Great Unity Day" was held.
Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Vo Van Quynh and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Dinh Thi Bac attended and shared joy with the residents of Teng village residential area.
Teng Village Residential Area, Ba Thanh Commune has 349 households, with 1,142 people. Over the years, people in the residential area have united, promoted diligence and creativity in labor and production, exploited the potential and strengths of the locality, overcome difficulties to develop the economy, stabilize family life, and contribute to the development of the residential area in all aspects.
Average income of 15.8 million VND/person/year increased by 13.15% compared to 2023; poor households in the residential area decreased to 51 poor households, accounting for 14.61%; 340/349 households achieved the title of "Cultural Family", accounting for 97.42%. Responding to the new rural construction movement, people contributed more than 42 million VND, 168 tons of cement, and 215 workers to build rural roads.
Speaking at the Festival, Mr. Vo Van Quynh congratulated and praised the achievements of the people of Teng village residential area and hoped that in the coming time, the people will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, heroic tradition, and well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws. Compete in labor production, preserve and promote traditional local products, enrich legitimately, strive to escape poverty sustainably, and successfully implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the locality.
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province presented 2 Great Solidarity houses to 2 poor households in Ba Thanh commune; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province presented a Certificate of Merit to the exemplary residential area in Teng village and 20 gifts to 20 households in especially difficult circumstances in Ba Thanh commune, each gift worth 1 million VND. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba To district presented 5 gifts to 5 poor households in the locality, each gift worth 500,000 VND.
