On the afternoon of April 1, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi chaired a working session to listen to the Department of Health report on the implementation and disbursement of public investment capital in 2025.
In the period of 2021-2025, the Department of Health has 3 projects under the local budget. Specifically, the project to expand the Department of Health's office; repay debts for newly approved projects for completion of the project; and the investment program to develop the grassroots health network in disadvantaged areas of Dak Nong province.
Of these, the Department of Health only has problems with the investment program to develop the grassroots health network in disadvantaged areas of Dak Nong province. This project has a total capital of 167 billion VND. In 2025, the capital source was allocated 13.4 billion VND. To date, the project has disbursed 4.3/13.4 billion VND, reaching 33% of the plan.
At the meeting, Director of the Department of Health Vo Thi Ai Lieu informed that the current problem of the project is about 18 billion VND that has not been disbursed. This capital is located in 3 medical stations, including: Dak Sin and Dak Ru communes, Dak R'lap district; Dak Som commune, Dak Glong district.
“All three stations are within the bauxite exploration planning boundary according to Decision 866/QD-TTg. Currently, we are actively coordinating with departments and branches to establish a consulting team to remove difficulties. The Department of Health commits to disbursing 60% of the capital plan by June 30, 2025. By September 30, 2025, disbursement will reach 80%. By the end of 2025, the unit will disburse over 95% of the capital plan,” Ms. Lieu committed.
Concluding the working session, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized that the Department of Health should enhance its responsibility in reporting, completing documents, and handing over to the Department of Agriculture and Environment to speed up progress.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment will assess the extent of the impact of the ore body. After that, the unit will finalize and coordinate with the Department of Health to implement the project. The coordination must be close and flexible," Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi directed.
